The cable car is about 1706 meters long and the cable has a 3604 meters length. It provides service with 36 cabins with a capacity of 8 people. It can easily carry 1200 people per hour. You can reach Tünektepe at an altitude of 605 meters in about 9 minutes.
You can find restaurants and cafes in the facilities located at the top. Since the restaurants here are affiliated to Antalya Municipality, the prices are quite affordable. Bringing food from outside is not allowed.
There is a playground for the children at the upper station of the cable car. You can watch a detailed panoramic view with the binoculars that work with coins.
It is better to call before you go in rainy days since the cable car might not work due to the bad weather conditions.

History of the Tünektepe Cable car
The Cable Car project was initiated in 2013 as a project to connect Tünek Tepe, the coastal hill overlooking the city of Antalya, with the Sarısu Neighborhood at the edge of the Konyaaltı district. This project cost 14 million Turkish Lira.
