In Antalya City currently, two tramway lines are connection important locations like the Airport Antalya AYT with the Antalya City Center. There are also bigger public buses operating in Antalya and Alanya. The payment of the public transport in Antalya and Alanya is done with AntalyaKart and AlanyaKart.
Long-Distance-Busses are the most important vehicle to travel between provinces in Turkey. They are leaving from the local bus stations, called Otogar.

There are two airports in Antalya. The main airport is Antalya AYT in the capital Antalya, the second airport is Alanya-Gazipasa with a few international flights and national connections.
With more than 25 million passangers Antalya AYT is the biggest airport in the province. The airport has connections in summer to all major european and international destinations to welcome tourists.
The small local airport is an option for tourists that are staying between Side and Alanya. There are only a few international flights to Alanya-Gazipasa available currently.
Flights within Turkey are very economical. A ticket for the route Istanbul - Antalya or Ankara - Antalya can be bought for 200 Turkish Lira. However, these prices do not apply during the high season, when tickets quickly cost double or even more. It is advisable to book early in advance.
Providers are the national airlines, such as Anadolu Jet, a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, SunExpress, Onur Air and of course Turkish Airlines. As a rule, charter flights are cheaper than Turkish Airlines tickets. Flights that operate at less convenient times, such as very early in the morning or very late at night, are also cheaper.
The airport is located approximately 10 kilometers east of Antalya City Center and is easily accessible via the D 400 highway by car.
Since the extension of the new tramway line, called AntRay, Antalya Airport can be reached by tramway. The Antalyakart is a ticket that is valid on all public buses and trams in Antalya, the AlanyaKart is the one for all public buses in Alanya. You cannot use public transport without this card. The credit card-sized card can be purchased at the authorised points of sale, many kiosks sell it and for Antalyakart, there are two points of sale at the airport.
If you want to ride the dolmus, you always have to pay cash.
Tickets for Long-Distance-Busses can be paid cash or booked online and paid by credit card.
