The cable car starts in the valley station on Damlataş Beach and takes you up to the medieval castle, which is located on a hill 250 meters above sea level.

The Alanya Cable Car opened in 2017 and has a total line length of 900 meters. It consists of 16 panoramic cabins, each of which can accommodate 6 people. It operates daily from 09.30 am to 11.00 pm.

How to Get to Damlataş Beach?
Damlataş Beach is located west of Alanya, just off the coast of the stalactite cave with the same name. It borders Cleopatra Beach on the east and Alanya Castle on the west.
- Public Transport & Taxi: Due to its central location, only 2 kilometers from the city center, Damlataş Beach can be easily reached by public transport. Bus lines 1, 40, and 50 stop near the beach. Taxis are also a good alternative.

The History of Damlataş Beach
For some travelers the names of Damlataş Beach and Cleopatra Beach is confusing. The whole beach is called Cleopatra Beach. Damlataş Beach is the eastern part of Cleopatra Beach in Alanya, close to the castle hill.
The name Damlataş Beach was invented, because in the 1950s Damlataş Cave was discovered during construction work close to the beach. The entrance to the cave is also located here. As a reminder, this part of the beach was named Damlataş Beach.
The whole beach in the bay is called Cleopatra Beach. According to a legend, Cleopatra Beach and the coast in Alanya were a wedding gift from Mark Antony to his wife, Cleopatra. The name Cleopatra Beach is said to come from the fact that the Egyptian queen went here to swim.
