This airport is a smaller one and sometimes due to bad weather conditions, planes are not able to start fully fueled and have to land in Izmir for refueling.<\/p>\n<p>There are very few direct flights to the Alanya-Gazipasa Airport. Usually you have to change planes in Istanbul or Ankara, however the airport is a good option if you are visiting places between Side and Alanya.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"\"><strong>International:<\/strong> International flights are available to and from D\u00fcsseldorf, Frankfurt\/Main, Leipzig, Cologne, Stuttgart, and Munich in Germany. There are also flights to and from Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Eindhoven in the Netherlands and connections to Denmark, Belgium, Finland, and Norway. International flight connections to and from the Gazipasa Airport are currently only offered on a seasonal basis.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><strong>Naitonal:<\/strong> Domestic routes are flown by Turkish Airlines, Borajet, SunExpress, and Pegasus Airlines. The busiest route is the connection to Istanbul, followed by Ankara. There are currently no other Turkish cities served from Gazipasa.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"t-1619202778928\" data-alt-text=\"Terminal\">The Terminal at the Alanya-Gazipasa Airport<\/h2>\n<p>The terminal at the Gazipasa Airport has a total area of 2,144 m\u00b2. There is only one terminal. Because of the limited space, a maximum of 2 aircrafts can be handled at the same time.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"t-1619552385133\" data-alt-text=\"Airport Transfers\">Airport Transfers at the Alanya-Gazipasa Airport<\/h2>\n<p>The fastest way to reach the airport is by car via the highway, but there are of course alternatives.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"\"><strong>Car:<\/strong> Alanya Gazipasa Airport is located 40 kilometers east of Alanya and 3 kilometers north of Gazipasa. It is easy to reach via the D 400 highway, the drive takes about 30 minutes depending on traffic.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><strong>Public Bus:<\/strong> Public transportation is not very well-developed, nevertheless there are two bus lines that go to the Alanya-Gazipasa Airport; GAL02 and MH11. The bus stops are about a 2 minute walk from the airport building.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><strong><b>Hava\u015f<\/b>:<\/strong> Hava\u015f Ground Handling offers a private shuttle services from the airport to the center of Alanya. In the downtown area of Alanya, the service mainly covers tourist destinations. The departure times of the buses are coordinated with the arrival times of domestic flights and the trip takes 60 minutes, depending on traffic.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><strong>Taxi:<\/strong> A taxi stop can be found in front of the airport terminal. Currently, the basic charge for taxi is 5.50 Turkish Lira and the price per kilometer is 4.00 Turkish Lira. There is no night rate, so the same rate applies for 24 hours a day. Be sure to have the driver turn on the taxi meter. A ride from the airport to the center of Alanya costs about 160 &#8211; 200 Turkish Lira, depending on the traffic. Prices for trips to more remote areas outside the Alanya city area served by the Alanya-Gazipasa Airport, such as Manavgat, Side, Avsallar, Incekum, and others are usually set in foreign currency. The prices change depending on the type of vehicle and how long it is parked.
