1. Cleopatra and Damlatas Beach
Cleopatra Beach at Alanya Castle tops the list of the most beautiful beaches in Antalya. It is located in the west of the peninsula and consists of a sandy and pebble beach, characterized by a relatively steep beach slope. You can rent sunbeds on site or alternatively bring your own towel. High waves should be expected here, especially at Damlatas Beach.
Damlatas Beach is the eastern part of Cleopatra Beach. This section of beach on the Castle Hill holds attractions such as the Damlatas Cave, the Antalya Archaeological Museum and a cable car that leads to the top of the Castle Hill.
The many 3 to 4 star hotels nearby are separated from the beach only by the promenade. All-inclusive hotels are less common here.
It is possible to discover the famous nightlife at the marina on foot from Cleopatra Beach. Extremely popular are also the tandem paragliding flights that land in the western part of Cleopatra Beach.
2. Lara Beach
Lara Beach is especially popular with families with children. As the closest beach to Antalya Airport, Lara Beach is the ideal place for a short beach brake. The eastern beach of Antalya offers many high class hotels directly on the beach. The western beach section is public.
Compared to Konyaalti Beach in the west of Antalya, the water here is a bit warmer and calmer.
A popular attraction nearby is the fascinating sand sculpture museum Sandland Antalya.

5. Kral Koyu (Delik Deniz)
This insider tip not far from the ancient city of Antioch Ad Cragum in Antalya’s Gazipaşa district is a very quiet bay with spectacular nature. The bay is protected from the sea by a natural rock arch with a hole in the middle, offering aquamarine waters and unique views. The hidden paradise owes its name ("King Bay") to the fact that King Antiochus allegedly used to bathe here.
Kral Koyu is a popular place among the locals, that’s why you can always expect some visitors. A quick trip to the ruins of Antiochia Ad Cragum is also recommended.
6. Phaselis
Phaselis is known for its historic heritage and the Phaselis Ancient Site, yet its beaches and crystal clear waters are equally worth seeing. Within the three former bays of the ancient city, there are a total of three quiet beaches, composed of sand and pebbles.
Swimming among the ruins of the ancient Roman city is a truly unique experience. There are day trips with boats that take sun worshipers from Kemer to Phaselis for swimming.
