  • Entrance: Manavgat Waterfall can be visited between April and September from 09:00 to 21:00 and between November and March from 09:00 to 18:00. 
  • Tickets: A small entrance fee will be charged for the Manavgat Waterfall.
  • Museum Pass Card: The Museum Card is not valid for the waterfall. Tickets can be purchased on site.

How to Get to Manavgat Waterfall from Antalya

The waterfall is located 80 kilometers from Antalya city center and approximately 5 kilometers from Manavgat.

From Antalya: You can reach the waterfall by using minibuses at Antalya intercity bus terminal in the direction of Manavgat. There are minibus services from the Manavgat bus station to the waterfall every 15 minutes. You can reach the waterfall in 10 minutes from the district center.

The History of Manavgat Waterfall

Manavgat was named "Melas" in the ancient times. It was the main water source for Side.

The Manavgat River is one of the most important rivers in the Mediterranean Region and in Turkey in terms of the amount of water it carries. It is formed by the combination of spring waters from the Western Taurus Mountains in the northwest of Antalya Akseki and the waters south of the Gembos closed basin.

Manavgat River stretches for about 90 km, passes through the middle of the town of Manavgat and flows into the Mediterranean from a place called the Bosphorus.
